I just have a few small changes to add to my last post…
First order of business is the open date.I don’t want to go past June for the open date but my new work schedule only gives me time on the weekends to work on anything which really limits when and how much I can update.I’m looking at the moment on where I can trim down some things from part 1 of phase one.The script I want to get for the member area is $199 so that may also hold up production a little since I have a lot of other more mandatory expenses right now. More than likely I will move the whole events section to part 2 of phase one and only do the bare minimum for the beginning forum content. My biggest focus will be on the support and staffing.
I can do limited updates on my bus commutes to and from work.I currently spend about four hours of my day on a bus.Since I only have access to my kindle during that time I can work on things like the FAQ or forum bit by bit on the road but not really any heavy duty graphic or webpage editing.I can also still respond to e-mails with the Kindle.
I’m now using Hootsuite for the Twitter account which has been a great experience.I program new tweets every Sunday so if there’s any ideas you’d like me to introduce to the tweets you can e-mail me or use the contact forms and well see what happens.
As usual check out the links to the DA group and oekaki on the left side of the blog and follow on Twitter. You can also mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll respond in 48 hours or less usually.
For now I’m going to still aim for the last opening dates I set.If I really need to I will extend it to June 30 and hopefully no later.
